Altair Health is a research and product development company with roots in behavioral science and an understanding of the psychological effects on the conditions we research. Our mission is to produce consumer-based products that can connect with and improve the lives of those living with autoimmune disorders including asthma, allergies and eczema. We have solutions for related conditions such as emphysema and a variety of autoimmune diseases. We have been researching atopy and severe asthma for the past six years and continue to monitor the additional research and studies that are published. We use new research methods to deepen our understanding of the condition and we continue to develop technologies that could improve the lives of those living with asthma.

The products we are currently working on include an intelligent asthma management system, a scratch prevention system for children with eczema, and an indoor and outdoor allergen forecasting tool.

Intelligent Asthma Management System

This system combines wearables, connected devices, a SAAS platform and our own algorithm to bring individualized solutions to those who have asthma including allergic asthma. Asthma research, respiratory therapy and a type of immunology is all part of the system.

Augmented and Virtual Reality Asthma Education

We are working to create a virtual reality and an augmented reality asthma education curriculum. This curriculum was developed by a group of 20 doctors, respiratory therapists and asthma educators. With engagement levels increased by over 400% compared to the traditional medium, we are excited to create the most compelling asthma education made to date.

Scratch Prevention for Children with Eczema

Using proprietary temperature regulating materials coupled with our unique design, we will provide a way to help infants and children with eczema stop scratching the affected areas.

Indoor and Outdoor Allergen Forecasting Tools

We are in the developing stages of a new way to monitor and forecast changing allergen conditions. This will lower allergic reactions and the immunoglobulin E (IgE) levels which is an antibody produced by the body’s immune system in response to a perceived threat. We are also developing new technologies and sensors to increase accuracy and measurement capacities.
